Qualifications

• NJDOE Standard Certificate for Guidance Counselor is required.
• Certified as Director of School Counseling Services, Director of Student Personnel Services, or Principal.
• Experience as a Master scheduler required.
• Working knowledge of Genesis SIS preferred.
• Leads and assesses a comprehensive counseling program aligned to school goals.
• Maintains ethical conduct and positive relationships with school and community.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in developing a comprehensive counseling program.
• Assist in planning and evaluating guidance department activities.
• Align department activities to school goals and objectives.
• Represent the district in professional organizations and community outreach.
• Ensure compliance with board policies and state laws.
• Supervise and evaluate designated staff and provide professional development.
