Job summary

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on project execution and client engagement across disciplines. You will manage project delivery, mentor staff, and drive business development while maintaining high standards of quality, collaboration, and innovative problem solving in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in land development, engineering, and leadership.
• PE licensure required and ability to obtain Florida PE license within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Orlando Land Development team including PMs and senior staff.
• Mentor and develop staff, recruit, retain, and train high-performing team members.
• Drive business development and expand municipal/local government market presence.
• Represent VHB in client meetings, regulatory agencies, and stakeholder activities.
• Oversee project scope, cost, schedule, and quality; ensure adherence to best practices.
