Job summary

Providence is seeking a Service Area Director of Pharmacy to lead and transform pharmacy operations across a designated service area in Washington. The role reports to Regional leadership and focuses on strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization across clinical, operational, and financial domains.

The position requires a strong pharmacy background, executive leadership experience, and a commitment to mission-driven care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Washington Pharmacist License required upon hire.
• Master’s degree (MPH/MBA) preferred.
• PharmD or equivalent education/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, oversight, design, operation, and continuous improvement of pharmacy services across the service area.
• Coach and mentor pharmacy leaders, managers, and caregivers to achieve performance and engagement goals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and drive quality outcomes through performance improvement.
