Job summary

San Jose/Evergreen Community College District seeks a District Executive Director of Foundation to lead district-wide advancement efforts from the District Office. This is a 12-month, full-time management position.

The role oversees fundraising, grants, and public relations, with responsibility for budgeting and financial integrity, while aligning campaigns with district goals and community impact. Provides board-level leadership and ensures compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, communications, business administration, organizational development and management, or a related field.
• Seven years of increasing experience in fundraising and development of a foundation or non-profit, including two years at supervisory/manager level.

Responsibilities

• Direct and integrate the activities of the Foundation including fundraising, grant development, financial management, investing, and public relations.
• Lead district-wide fundraising strategies and capital campaigns in alignment with district goals.
• Develop and administer the Foundation budget and monitor financial performance.
• Present to the Foundation Board of Directors and District leadership; ensure compliance with donor agreements and legal requirements.
