Aspire NorCal seeks a Director of Finance & Grant Reporting to partner with the CFO and Senior Directors to drive strategic financial management across Aspire LA and NorCal. The role focuses on grant reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated financial reporting across regions.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit/government-like accounting, a strong sense of initiative, and the ability to manage multiple sites with high accuracy in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis.
• 3+ years of experience in school finance preferred.
• Experience in not-for-profit accounting and public sector finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budget and forecast updates for assigned Aspire sites and regional sites.
• Facilitate regular budget and forecast update meetings.
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly close and reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with variance analysis.
• Lead 1-2 Grant Reporting/Finance direct reports.
• Collaborate with CFO and CIO on strategic financial management and reporting for external stakeholders.
