Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, science or a related field.
• Eight years of experience in successful academic and administrative management in higher education.
• Knowledge of academic and administrative processes supporting a large engineering program.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic, administrative, financial, business, and HR functions for the department.
• Assist Department Chair with strategic planning and budgeting for a large organization.
• Coordinate Faculty Affairs including leaves, appointments, reviews, and promotions.
• Lead development of academic advising standards and student recruitment goals.
• Manage Workday administration and department cost center operations.
• Collaborate with external partners to secure funding and partnerships.
