Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a Director of Construction Major Projects to lead large-scale facility design and construction. This contract role covers the construction and closeout phases of an 88-unit mid-rise tower with amenity repositioning through 2029, across states where Acts operates.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PM experience in large developments, a relevant degree, and prefers senior living industry experience; FAA drone certification and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of ten years’ experience in construction project management, focused on large-scale developments.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial or residential projects.
• FAA-Certified Drone Pilot (Part 107) certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of large-sized or complex facility design and construction projects.
• Oversee renovations, additions and expansions across all Acts operating states.
• Manage project scope, budget and closeout through 2029 for the defined 88-unit tower.
