Job summary

Crown West Realty, LLC seeks a Director of Land & Development to lead planning, entitlement, and delivery of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects across Arizona and Nevada. Based in Scottsdale, you will coordinate with ownership, municipalities, consultants, and contractors to maximize asset value and ensure on-time, on-budget execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, real estate development, or related field.
• P.E. license preferred.
• 10+ years of land development or project management experience.
• Experience managing residential, commercial, and master-planned communities.
• Strong entitlement, engineering design, infrastructure development, and construction management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct zoning, entitlement, permitting, and governmental approval processes.
• Manage relationships with municipalities, regulatory agencies, utility providers, and community stakeholders.
• Oversee preparation of development agreements, public improvement plans, and entitlement applications.
• Develop strategies to secure project approvals and mitigate entitlement risks.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, architects, landscape architects, and consultants.
• Oversee project design, engineering, and infrastructure planning.
• Review plans and specifications to ensure alignment with objectives, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate value-engineering initiatives to optimize development costs.
• Monitor project risks and implement solutions to maintain project objectives.
