Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Sr. Development Manager in Phoenix, AZ to lead land development and acquisition efforts from inception through approvals. The role involves coordinating architects, engineers, and consultants, and directing feasibility analyses and schedules to accelerate construction start dates.

You will present at local boards and manage multi-state program rollouts, ensuring timely surveys, budgets, and stakeholder communication. Travel 25–50% is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-construction and land development efforts including site planning and utility design.
• Feasibility, due diligence, site analysis and entitlements experience.
• Proven ability to work with municipalities and manage multiple projects.
• Certification in PMP, PE, AIA, LEED, CMAA preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Create tailored development schedules for land lease/acquisition based on zoning and approvals.
• Lead a team of architects and engineers to confirm viability and compliance.
• Represent client at staff and planning meetings to pursue approvals.
• Coordinate surveys and reports (Title, ALTA, Geotechnical, Environmental).
• Provide regular project status reporting and value engineering ideas.
