Job summary

Confidential Company in California is seeking a Senior Director of IT, Applications to steer the strategic planning, design and deployment of core IT applications. You will align technology resources with short- and long-term business goals and lead a high-performing team to deliver reliable, secure software and services.

The role oversees Office 365, BI, CRM and other enterprise systems, driving cost‑effective IT operations, governance and risk management, and strong stakeholder communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years in a senior IT management role in tech services.
• Proven IT strategic planning, organization and development.
• Experience with Office 365, BI, CRM and other enterprise systems.
• Strong leadership, vendor management, governance and risk skills.
• Experience with information security systems and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the strategic IT roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Oversee IT applications including Office 365, BI tools, CRM and enterprise systems.
• Lead design, development and deployment of new software to enhance operations.
• Ensure security of IT applications via robust information security policies.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts and service quality.
• Lead and grow a high-performing IT team; provide training and support.
• Oversee end-user services including help desk and support.
• Monitor IT system performance for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure continuous service delivery by overseeing SLAs and performance.
• Stay current with tech trends and implement new technologies as needed.
