Job summary

Artivion is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Operations & Security in the Atlanta area to lead enterprise infrastructure strategy, engineering, and platform services. You will oversee compute, storage, cloud connectivity, data center operations, monitoring, and resilience with cybersecurity embedded into architecture and operations.

The role requires 12–18 years in infrastructure leadership, 5–8 years of people leadership, and proven budget management across capital and operating expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 12-18 years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, operations, or enterprise platforms.
• Minimum 5-8 years of people leadership experience managing managers and teams.
• Experience owning budgets, forecasting, vendor spend, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year strategy and operating model for enterprise infrastructure across compute, storage, cloud, and data centers.
• Lead design, implementation, operation, and modernization of infrastructure services for availability, performance, and security.
• Establish governance for architecture decisions, standards, lifecycle, service ownership, and production support.
• Own day-to-day infrastructure operations including monitoring, incident response, change execution, and escalation.
• Manage operating metrics, capacity planning, and service-level performance for infrastructure services.
• Drive ITSM alignment and integration with service desk, cybersecurity, EA, and business continuity.
• Lead risk-based cost optimization while preserving resilience and service quality.
