Job summary

The Resurrection Project in Chicago seeks a Director of the Immigrant Justice Legal Clinic to lead, mentor, and oversee legal services delivered through the clinic.

You will ensure TRP's vision is reflected in high-quality immigration services, supervise staff and volunteers, and manage program budgets while pursuing funding opportunities.

Ideal candidates hold a JD or DOJ accreditation, are bilingual in English and Spanish, and have 4+ years of legal clinic management experience in immigrant law.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree or DOJ accredited representative with 4+ years in legal clinic management.
• Current knowledge of immigration law; removal defense preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Ability to build relationships across diverse communities; strong written and verbal skills.
• Proficient MS Office and Internet usage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, train, and evaluate a high-performing IJLC team and staff.
• Oversee data collection, monitoring, and ethical compliance for legal services.
• Lead program development, budgeting, and funding opportunities for the department.
• Coordinate advocacy and external relationships with partners and officials.
• Provide legal guidance and ensure high-quality client services and recordkeeping.
• Foster cross-team communication and a positive organizational culture.
