Job summary

A leading vacation ownership company in Honolulu is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee all engineering and maintenance operations across the resort's towers. This role includes management of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and structural systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and spearheading energy efficiency initiatives. The ideal candidate must have substantial experience in hospitality engineering, alongside strong management and communication skills. Qualifications

• 2+ years as Director of Engineering in a hotel or resort.
• 4+ years of management experience leading teams.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience in hospitality.
• Experience with mechanical systems and building equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and emergency protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering operations including inspections and repairs.
• Manage departmental budgets and inventory control.
• Supervise maintenance projects in guest rooms and public areas.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and OSHA regulations.
