• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, focusing on quality, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills; financial, budgeting and accounting competency.

• Prepares and implements budgets for labor, expense, and income for all areas of responsibility.
• Monitors quality of service and products; works to continually improve quality and cost.
• Coordinates with FNS management of production for optimal quality and cost levels.
• Administers HR policies to ensure consistent implementation for the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Collaborates with Patient Care Services and Clinical Nutrition to provide consistent care and monitoring of outcomes.
