Job summary

Connecticut Children’s is seeking a Director to lead Enterprise Intelligence and Decision Support, guiding BI, data engineering, and governance to empower clinical, operational, financial, and executive decisions. You will partner with the Enterprise Performance Office and IT to align data strategy with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Computer Science, MIS, Business or other related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years working in data warehousing and Business Intelligence, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated experience as an internal consultant to management and staff.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead an enterprise BI and Decision Support program that provides actionable, timely, trusted information to leaders.
• Direct BI Analysts as strategic partners translating priorities into dashboards, scorecards, and metrics.
• Ensure BI resources align with priorities through governance and intake processes.
• Define KPIs and enterprise metrics with clinical, operational, and financial leadership.
• Promote standardized reporting, self-service BI, and data literacy across the organization.
• Oversee data engineering, ETL/ELT, APIs, and Epic Cogito ecosystem to support reporting.
