Job summary

The Chisago County Housing & Redevelopment Authority-Economic Development Authority (HRA-EDA) seeks an Executive Director to lead countywide economic development, housing programs, and redevelopment efforts.

Reporting to a five-member board, the role oversees grant administration, SBDC satellite services, strategic initiatives, and partnerships with public and private sectors to foster community growth and prosperity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economic development, public administration, business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in economic and community development.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with grant writing, business development, housing programs, financial management, and public-private partnerships is highly desirable.
• National Development Council certification and housing development experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead countywide economic development, business retention and expansion, housing management oversight and development.
• Oversee redevelopment and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) satellite service.
• Manage grant administration and strategic initiatives to support community growth and prosperity.
