Job summary

The Chisago County Housing & Redevelopment Authority-Economic Development Authority (HRA-EDA) seeks an Executive Director to lead countywide economic development, housing programs, and redevelopment efforts.

Reporting to a five-member board, the role oversees grant administration, SBDC satellite services, strategic initiatives, and partnerships with public and private sectors to foster community growth and prosperity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economic development, public administration, business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in economic and community development.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with grant writing, business development, housing programs, financial management, and public-private partnerships is highly desirable.
• National Development Council certification and housing development experience are preferred.

The Chisago County Housing & Redevelopment Authority-Economic Development Authority (HRA-EDA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Executive Director.

Reporting to a five-member appointed Board, this leadership position is responsible for advancing countywide economic development, business retention and expansion, housing management oversight and development, redevelopment, overseeing the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) satellite service, grant administration and strategic initiatives that support community growth and prosperity throughout Chisago County.

Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in economic development, public administration, business, finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in economic and community development. A master's degree is preferred. Experience with grant writing, business development, housing programs, financial management, and public-private partnerships is highly desirable. National Development Council certification and housing development experience are preferred.
