Job summary

Medical Mutual seeks an experienced Director of Tax to lead corporate tax policy and compliance across federal, state, and local levels. You will coordinate data collection, tax provision and reporting, and manage internal and external stakeholders to minimize tax costs.

The role requires a CPA, 10+ years in accounting/tax with leadership experience, and a strong grasp of tax rules and accounting principles. Hybrid work model with in-office days at Brooklyn, OH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Master’s of Taxation, MBA or Masters of Accounting preferred.
• 10 years of accounting/tax experience with 3 years in a lead position.
• CPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Directs collection, audit and consolidation of data to prepare federal, state and local tax returns.
• Manages and reviews preparation of separate company and consolidated tax returns and work papers.
• Oversees quarterly and annual domestic income tax provision and related accounting reporting.
