Job summary

KARL STORZ Endoscopy is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Compliance Risk Assurance to lead a North America program. You will oversee audits, risk assessments, data analytics, and transparency reporting to strengthen compliance and protect organizational value across the business.

The role requires deep compliance expertise, strong leadership, analytical rigor, and the ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels of the organization. Travel is ~15–25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years in Compliance, Legal, Internal Audit, or related fields in medical devices, pharma, or life sciences.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience with performance management and development.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations, transparency reporting, fraud and abuse laws, OIG guidance, and industry codes.
• Experience leading audits, monitoring programs, risk assessments, and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of a risk-based compliance audit and monitoring program.
• Establish methodologies, standards, and reporting for audit and monitoring activities.
• Develop annual audit and monitoring plans based on risk assessments and regulatory developments.
• Oversee audits, field observations, and reviews to assess program effectiveness.
• Report findings, corrective actions, and remediation progress to senior leadership.
