Job summary

Sarepta Therapeutics, a leading biotech focused on genetic medicines, seeks a Director of Commercial Training & Capabilities to lead the training function and develop a strategic program across the organization to elevate scientific knowledge and product understanding.

The role reports to the Vice President and requires 10+ years in pharma/biotech, strong cross-functional leadership, and expertise in training for rare diseases and gene therapy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech company preferred.
• 3-5+ years as a commercial trainer at a pharmaceutical/biotech company.
• PharmD/PhD preferred; if no advanced degree, ability to assimilate and communicate complex gene therapy concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term strategic vision for learning and training at Sarepta.
• Identify business needs and implement training solutions across the organization.
• Develop training strategies to enhance virtual customer and HCP engagement.
• Oversee national and regional training meetings with cross-functional leads and senior leadership.
• Establish metrics to measure value and impact of training initiatives.
