Job summary

Indiana University Health seeks a Director of Pharmacy-Centralized Compounding to lead systemwide compounding initiatives, including sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous products. The role requires strategic vision, robust leadership, and expertise in regulatory practices to improve efficiency and patient care across IU Health's network.

Applicants should have a PharmD or equivalent, Indiana licensure, and 7–10 years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Requires PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy prior to 2006 with at least 3 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• Must be licensed as a Pharmacist in Indiana or eligible for licensure.
• Deep knowledge of USP-NF and related practices; cGMP exposure preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience; progressive leadership in hospital or health-system settings preferred.
• BCSCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-range vision, priorities, governance and growth roadmap for centralized compounding services.
• Provide administrative leadership and strategic planning for personnel, materials and finances.
• Integrate services with other areas and emerging delivery systems.
• Drive efficiency, performance improvement and fiscal responsibility across the service line.
