Job summary

BioPharma CDMO in Spokane, WA seeks a Director of Capital Project Engineering to lead the site’s capital portfolio, from strategy through commissioning, ensuring governance, cost control, and on-time delivery.

Requires 12+ years in capital projects with 5+ years in BioPharma, plus strong leadership of cross-functional teams in a regulated environment. Relocation and visa support available; aggressive expansion plans include aseptic fill/lyophilization lines.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field as core requirement.
• 12+ years progressively responsible capital project/PMO experience.
• 5+ years in BioPharma environment with GMP/regulated context.
• 5+ years leading engineering or project controls teams.
• Experience delivering large, complex capital projects on schedule and budget.
• Familiarity with cGMP, commissioning, qualification, and change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead site capital planning, project intake, business cases, budgeting and forecasting.
• Govern capital portfolio with stage-gate processes and PMO standards.
• Oversee projects from concept to turnover, ensuring safety, quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize disruption and ensure value.
• Provide executive-level reporting on scope, cost, risk and benefits.
