Eastern University is a nationally recognized Christian university with diverse programs, seeking a Director of Annual Giving to lead strategy, donor cultivation, and engagement across direct mail, email, and digital channels. The role includes managing a 40–60 donor portfolio and partnering with University Marketing to align messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of fundraising experience including annual giving and higher education advancement.
• Proven ability to plan, implement, and evaluate multichannel fundraising campaigns.
• Experience cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors with measurable results.
• Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills; ability to produce donor-centered communications.
• Experience with fundraising data, segmentation, and ROI analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns, vendors, and deadlines with limited supervision.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute comprehensive annual giving strategies for donor acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Manage a portfolio of 40–60 annual and leadership-level donors and prospects.
• Lead University Giving Societies, stewardship, and constituent programs; collaborate with campus partners.
• Partner on digital fundraising, email, and social media components within the program.
• Coordinate with Advancement Services on data requests, lists, and reporting; analyze results to improve performance.
• Oversee vendor relationships, campaign production, and budget management.
• Communicate fundraising plans and results to stakeholders; ensure alignment with brand standards.
