Job summary

Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University is seeking a Director of Annual Giving to lead the strategy, execution, and growth of the comprehensive annual giving program. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with five or more years in fundraising.
• Proven success independently planning and evaluating campaigns.
• Experience with multichannel fundraising and donor cultivation.
• Ability to use data and results to inform strategy and messaging.
• Strong project management, organizational skills, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive annual giving strategy from planning to execution.
• Develop and manage donor acquisition, retention, reactivation, and upgrades.
• Personally manage campaigns across direct mail, email, digital, and stewardship.
• Collaborate with University Marketing to align communications with brand standards.
• Monitor budget, oversee calendars, vendors, production, and ROI.
• Manage a 40–60 donor portfolio, stewarding and advancing leadership gifts.
• Leverage data analytics to inform strategy and identify movement opportunities.
