Job summary

ARUMC is seeking a Digital Storyteller and Lead Communicator to shape strategic messaging for the Arkansas Conference. The role focuses on public witness through social media, website content, and weekly digital newsletters, reporting to the Director of Administrative Services.

You will advise the Bishop, Cabinet, and staff to ensure clear, inviting messaging that advances community and mission. Responsibilities include overseeing website content, social media strategy, email marketing, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications-related field.
Proficiency with Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro.
Strong communication, storytelling and leadership capabilities.
Ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Create and oversee website content, social media channels, email marketing, and digital storytelling.
Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy aligned with ARUMC mission and plan.
Maintain a professional visual presence reflecting United Methodist values.
Advise leadership on communication, public relations, and brand management.
Coordinate resources and content creators across the conference.
