IDB Invest, the private sector arm of the IDB Group, seeks a strategic Governance and Oversight Consultant in Washington DC. You will develop and maintain a robust digital governance framework, align IT and data governance with regulatory requirements, and collaborate across departments to improve safe, usable technology.

Strong risk management and communication skills are required. Education and experience emphasize a master's in a relevant field and at least 5 years in risk/governance roles,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, data management, information systems, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in risk management or related areas with knowledge of IT governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in English and one other IDB official language (Spanish, French or Portuguese) required.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain the digital governance framework.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to IT and data processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal risk and audit assessments.
• Collaborate with departments to improve technological usability safely.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital governance measures.
• Serve as technical focal point for IT audits and risk assessments.
• Provide recommendations for improving data management practices.
