Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Albuquerque is seeking a Senior Director of Development to lead and strengthen its fundraising programs. Reporting to the CEO, this role focuses on increasing philanthropic revenue, expanding donor engagement, and building a sustainable culture of philanthropy across the organization.

The successful candidate will manage major donor portfolios, pursue foundations and corporate funding, and oversee grant writing, reports, and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 5-7 years of nonprofit fundraising experience with major gifts.
• Proven grant-writing and donor stewardship success.
• Experience managing donor portfolios and developing solicitations.
• Familiarity with Raiser's Edge or Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual and multiyear fundraising plans.
• Lead major gifts, annual giving, grants, and sponsorships.
• Build and manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects.
• Prepare compelling grant proposals and reports with program outcomes.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, board, and volunteers to align fundraising with mission.
• Oversee development operations, data management, and reporting.
