Job summary

Stanford Law School seeks an Associate Director of Development, Corporate & Foundation Relations to plan and implement fundraising strategies for corporate and foundation funders. You will manage an active portfolio and coordinate with University Corporate and Foundation Relations and other offices to secure support.

The role requires cultivating gifts, coordinating proposals, and mentoring volunteers and staff to advance development goals while maintaining compliance with university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in corporate and/or foundation prospect identification, relationship building, and solicitation.
• Superior written and oral communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to articulate a compelling case for philanthropic support programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop solicitation goals, objectives, and strategies for corporate and foundation funders; cultivate and solicit gifts.
• Manage an active portfolio of corporate/foundation prospects to cultivate, solicit, and steward support.
• Work with faculty, funders, volunteers, and staff to raise financial support; balance competing agendas and policy compliance.
