Job summary

Seattle University’s School of Law seeks an Associate Director of Development to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, donors, and prospects in support of law school priorities. You will manage a robust portfolio and align engagement with university strategies.

Engagement blends in-person and virtual meetings to deepen donor relationships and drive philanthropic support, while coordinating with the Dean and Advancement colleagues. Hybrid schedule and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ work experience in fundraising/development or related fields.
• High level of cultural competency and ability to work with diverse audiences.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills with public presentation comfort.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, donors, and prospective donors.
• Annually solicit a portfolio of 150+ prospects, targeting leadership annual gifts and major gifts.
• Develop 12–25 major gift proposals and guide donors through proposal and solicitation processes.
• Collaborate with the Dean, faculty, and University Advancement on fundraising priorities.
