Job summary

Catholic Charities of Oregon seeks a Development Director to lead the Development team and advance fundraising through major gifts, grants, events, bequests, and contributions. You will work with the CEO and Executive Team to grow revenue and ensure donor engagement across diverse revenue streams.

You will manage a portfolio of major donors, oversee the major gifts program, and align budgets with organizational goals, reporting to the CEO and Finance Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 7+ years in development fundraising.
• Experience with major gifts, grants, events, bequests and contributions.
• Proven ability to solicit six-figure gifts from high-net-worth individuals.
• Experience managing a program with a multi-million dollar budget.
• Knowledge of donor databases such as Donor Perfect.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year development strategy.
• Manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects.
• Lead the Development department budget and reporting.
• Oversee donor retention, upgrade, and recognition.
• Collaborate with CEO, Communications, and Finance.
