Ruan is seeking a Deputy General Counsel to work on site at the Ruan Campus in downtown Des Moines. The role partners with the VP & General Counsel to provide strategic and tactical legal advice and to oversee litigation with outside counsel.

You will handle complex transactions, critical contracts, risk management, and regulatory compliance, and may act as the GC's delegate. The position requires seasoned judgment, strong leadership, and the ability to guide senior leaders.

Qualificações

• JD from an accredited law school; Iowa bar admission.
• 10+ years leading complex legal activities (contracts, litigation, corporate matters).
• Proven ability to counsel executives and manage external counsel.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee corporate governance and policy development.
• Manage litigation with outside counsel; monitor spend.
• Lead major transactions and contract negotiations.
• Provide legal opinions; monitor regulatory developments.
• Advise on financing and risk management.
