Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim in the United States is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain leader to drive the US Sales & Operations Planning process for the AH business. You will align supply, finance and marketing to optimize product availability and minimize backorders across 150 to 200 SKUs with $150M–$1.1B in net sales.

The role requires strong analytical skills, S&OP leadership experience, and ability to influence at Brand Director level while coordinating with Global Supply Chain for multi-country

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Business, Supply Chain, Production Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to link data to decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process for the US AH business, connecting Global Supply, Finance, and Marketing & Sales.
• Provide performance updates on inventory, launches, and obsolescence; escalate issues.
• Lead Demand Reviews with cross-functional teams to optimize forecast accuracy and service levels.
• Manage inventory risks and opportunities, including backorders and destructs; drive mitigation plans.
• Coordinate SKU lifecycle management and local product lifecycle processes with stakeholders (Finance, Regulatory, Marketing).
• Drive cross-functional alignment and decision-making across regional/global functions.
