Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Nashua, NH, is seeking a Customer Demand Manager to lead demand planning for the High Speed Backplane portfolio. You will forecast demand, analyze trends, and align forecasts with internal capacity, working with Sales, Operations, and Finance to improve accuracy and inventory planning.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, risk and opportunity identification, and regular demand reviews to support revenue and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, customer demand management, supply chain, product management, operations planning, or financial analysis.
• Experience in connectors, electronics, manufacturing, or related industry preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP, BI, or demand planning software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage customer demand planning activities including forecasting and backlog analysis.
• Collect, validate, and consolidate customer forecasts, purchase orders, backlog data, and other demand inputs.
• Analyze historical demand and market trends to develop accurate projections.
• Improve forecast accuracy by identifying forecast bias and demand variability.
• Maintain demand planning databases, reports, and dashboards for accessibility across systems.
• Align customer demand forecasts with internal supply, inventory, and production capacity.
• Partner with Operations to support capacity planning and material planning.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to demand fluctuations.
• Facilitate regular demand reviews with Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to support commitments, inventory decisions, and capacity investments.
• Work with Sales to clarify demand assumptions and resolve forecast discrepancies.
• Track key metrics including forecast accuracy and backlog trends.
• Support continuous improvement of demand planning processes.
