Job summary

Rise Baking Company is seeking an experienced Demand Planner/Forecasting Lead to oversee all forecasting activities for customers and products. You will manage a rolling 24-month demand plan, build statistical models, and collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and procurement to ensure accurate forecasts that support financial goals.

Responsibilities include leading ERP transitions, maintaining data integrity in SAP APO DP, and delivering ad-hoc analyses to support supply planning and S&OP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, business, statistics, mathematics or related field.
• 5+ years of consumer products forecasting or supply chain operations experience; familiarity with S&OP processes, customer planning, or supply planning.
• APICS Certification (CPIM or CSCP) desired; IBF CPF designation desired.
• Expert knowledge of SAP APO DP forecasting application or supply planning software.
• Experience with or knowledge of external data sources (IRI, Retail Link).
• Retail and foodservice channel experience desired; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong statistical reasoning and knowledge of tools like Python or R; advanced Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage demand forecasts at customer-item-shipping location level.
• Create, review, and validate the demand plan for rolling 24-month horizon using statistical models.
• Lead the development of forecast models and assessment of forecast accuracy (MAPE) and bias.
• Coordinate cross-functional forecasting meetings and S&OP processes.
• Manage SAP APO DP and related planning systems; data cleaning and validation during ERP transitions.
• Provide ad-hoc analytics and scenario planning for supply chain and annual operating plans.
