Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to analyze sales and operations data and improve forecast accuracy. You will support the enterprise S&OP process across business segments and drive data-driven demand insights.

Responsibilities include developing forecasts, leading cross-functional workstreams, and delivering actionable analyses to leadership. This role requires strong analytics, collaboration, and the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline; 2-5 years in a related field, or MS/MA with 2-4 years of experience.
• Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development and execution of forecasts to support the enterprise S&OP process.
• Executes demand planning for product categories, delivering total demand forecasts.
• Measures forecast accuracy and communicates results to stakeholders.
• Leads a workstream to maintain forecast accuracy for one or more sales verticals.
• Creates statistical forecasts and quantifies risks using quantitative methods and software.
• Collaborates with departments to onboard new products, retire old ones, and manage promotions.
• Retrieves, refines, and analyzes data; translates insights into leadership presentations.
