Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Demand Planning & Inventory Analyst in Clifton, NJ to support forecasting, inventory management, and excess inventory initiatives. You will analyze sales trends, customer demand, and inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce aged inventory.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, Production, Purchasing, Finance, and Supply Chain to develop accurate forecasts and identify risks, while helping drive the SAP transition with data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
2–5 years in demand planning, inventory analysis, or related fields.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, formulas, and reporting.
Ability to manage large data sets and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain demand forecasts for customer, product, and channel levels.
Monitor forecast accuracy and identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to incorporate market activity into forecasts.
Monitor finished goods inventory and identify excess, aged, or at-risk stock.
Support inventory reduction strategies and closeout programs.
Assist with SAP implementation, data validation, and reporting requirements.
Develop dashboards and reports on demand, inventory, and related metrics.
