Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a procurement support professional to assist with administrative and expediting duties ensuring continuous product replenishment. You will interact with the sales team on customer requests and product updates, coordinate with manufacturers, and maintain contract and catalog data.

The role requires analytical work with data and inventory, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with warehouse, finance, and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• Education: High School education or Bachelor's degree a plus.
• Experience: Prior pharmacy/pharmaceutical procurement experience is a plus and at least three years in an analytical role with data and sales related to procurement and inventory.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with purchasing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Procurement/Buyer Support and coordinating product availability requests with manufacturers.
• Oversee setting up Premier contracts and maintain system updates for open POs and item setup.
• Track market issues based on vendor feedback and communicate status to sales.
• Review outs of stocks and back-ordered items; keep catalog active/inactive descriptors up to date.
• Develop relationships with warehouse, finance, and customer service teams.
