Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an experienced Demand Planner to develop and maintain the demand plan for an assigned portfolio of programs, translating inputs from Program Management, Business Development, and Finance into a defensible, time-phased plan for execution.

The role spans both near-term and long-range horizons, guiding capacity, capital, and hiring decisions, and leading the monthly SIOP cycle with robust dashboards and metrics to keep leadership informed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years in demand planning, forecasting, or SIOP with forecast accountability.
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Katana, Sage) and advanced Excel.
• Ability to work with both quantitative and qualitative data to build a defensible plan.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the demand plan for an assigned portfolio across horizons.
• Translate milestones into time-phased unit and rate demand for build and capacity decisions.
• Lead the monthly SIOP demand review and communicate changes and risks.
• Publish forecast accuracy and bias and drive corrective actions.
• Build dashboards and maintain change logs for traceability.
