Job summary

Ghirardelli Chocolate is seeking a Demand Planning professional to develop and maintain forecasts for seasonal and everyday gift categories, coordinating with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Planning.

You will analyze forecast variances, support new product launches, manage intercompany planning, and prepare weekly performance reports, leveraging SAP, AP/IBP, and advanced Excel skills to drive accuracy and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in Demand Planning or Supply Planning.
• Experience with SAP, SAP APO/IBP or similar planning systems preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivots, lookups, automation and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for assigned seasonal and everyday gift categories.
• Analyze forecast variances and adjust forecasts based on trends.
• Support new product launches, transitions and seasonal planning.
• Prepare analysis and reporting for S&OP and S&OE processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Supply Planning.
• Manage intercompany supply planning and related purchase orders in SAP.
