Job summary

Ghirardelli is seeking a Sr. Production Planner to manage master planning and detailed scheduling for selected product lines.

This role uses SAP IBP/PPDS to ensure raw materials and packaging meet production schedules, while aligning with policies and efficiency goals. You will lead cross-functional planning activities, develop 12-month master plans, and coordinate with procurement, operations, and finance to optimize capacity and inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or operations.
• 7–10 years experience in related field.
• Experience with SAP IBP-S4-PPDS knowledge is a big plus.
• Strong skills with PC-based tools for analyzing and presenting data.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed production planning and scheduling for monthly production and new launches.
• Maintain weekly detailed schedules for assigned lines and products.
• Collaborate across procurement, supply chain, operations, sales and finance.
• Develop and maintain master plans and capacity analyses for long-term planning.
• Communicate production plans and risks to multiple sites and stakeholders.
