Job summary

Credence Management Solutions, LLC seeks a Financial Manager (Budget) to support AFLCMC/FM-FZ at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role oversees budget operations, accounting and reporting in line with FAR and DoD regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold an advanced degree with extensive DoD experience, an active Secret clearance, and a track record implementing FIAR/MICP controls and SOPs to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Qualifications

• Must have an active or current Secret clearance verifiable in DISS.
• Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field with ten (10) years of DoW/DoD experience, or Bachelor's with twelve (12) years, five (5) in the DoW/DoD.
• Three (3) years of relevant Air Force accounting and/or DFAS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial accounting and budget operations for customers, including the development of procedures.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining MICP requirements and FIAR to protect against waste, fraud, and abuse.
• Ensure accuracy, propriety, and legality of accounting transactions through extensive document review.
• Identify trends, discrepancies, and patterns in accounting data.
• Prepare financial reports related to the financial condition of accountable data.
• Apply FAR and DoD FMR requirements in budget processes.
• Support contract reconciliation and closeout efforts.
• Develop SOPs and training plans on a timely basis.
• Provide DoD/DFAS regulatory interpretation per GAAP.
