Job summary

DCS is seeking a seasoned budget management professional to support cost and requirement reviews, funding document accuracy, and fund tracking across programs. You will ensure compliance with policy, monitor commitments in GFEBS, and report to the Government Resource Manager to support mission-critical decisions.

The role emphasizes government funding controls, DAWIA budget management credentials, and military experience, with a focus on accountability and airtight financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.
• Minimum of 10 years in managerial accounting within a PMO handling government funding.
• DAWIA Budget Management certification or equivalent.
• Twenty-four credit hours of Math or Business courses required.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget management support, including data collection, development, and CCaR analysis.
• Review funding documents for completeness, accuracy, and guidelines compliance within 2 business days.
• Monitor funds using GFEBS and update tracking mechanisms daily.
• Track commitments in GFEBS and report discrepancies weekly to the Government Resource Manager.
• Prepare monthly status updates on disbursements using GFEBS BI reports.
