Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic-minded Resources Business Group Data Steward to define, share, and reuse data across HDR’s Business Group and practices. This leadership role focuses on making data simpler, more useful, and more connected to how HDR does business today and in the future.

You will enable better decisions, reuse, and delivery excellence by creating data clarity and promoting data fluency across teams, with reports to the Resources Technology Director and collaboration with Data

Qualifications

• Ten years of leadership experience focusing on growing and leading teams in change management and business data.
• Fifteen years of experience providing diverse data-focused solutions and services.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
• Experience in power, industrial and/or waste sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise from our Business Classes and Practices.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries for key engineering and technical terms with business context.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and expected use across teams.
• Promote consistent, responsible use of technical data, including access and data quality.
• Support governance of externally sourced datasets and lifecycle considerations.
• Collaborate with HDR Data Operations and leadership teams to align practices.
