Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resources Business Group Data Steward to shape how data is defined, shared, and reused across the Business Group. This leadership role focuses on making data simple, consistent, and ready to support analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.

You will define data glossaries, lead cross‑functional collaboration, and work with HDR Data Operations and Tech Leadership to enable better decisions and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Experienced in developing and managing diverse teams.
• Able to collaborate with other leaders, operations managers, and marketing managers.
• Committed to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Work as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries for key engineering terms.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and use.
• Promote responsible use of data, including access, quality, format, and reuse.
• Govern externally sourced datasets (access, approvals, inventory, lifecycle).
• Lead a RBG SME network to align practices and share lessons.
• Promote data fluency across the RBG.
• Communicate and collaborate with BG Data Stewards and Enterprise AI teams.
