Job summary

RS Americas is seeking a Data Scientist in a hybrid role based in Fort Worth, TX. You will use advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to uncover pricing, cost, and product mix opportunities that support sales quoting and revenue transformation.

You will collaborate with pricing, sales, procurement, and finance teams to translate complex data into actionable recommendations and build predictive models for demand, price elasticity, and customer behavior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with strong statistics and ML knowledge.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and feature engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pricing, sales, procurement, and finance to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Analyze margin and growth across customers, products, suppliers, and channels to identify improvements.
• Build predictive models for demand, price elasticity, and customer behavior.
• Surface cross-sell, upsell, and mix optimization opportunities using machine learning.
