Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a Principal Data Scientist, Digital Product Owner to define vision and roadmaps for enterprise data products. You will partner with business and IT to deliver scalable, AI-enabled analytics that improve quality, regulatory compliance and operational performance across Global functions.

You will bridge business needs and technical delivery on cloud platforms. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, excellent communication, and experience in regulated sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, data products or related fields.
• 3+ years as product owner, product manager or digital product lead.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives with business stakeholders, data engineering teams and technical delivery organizations.
• Strong experience with Agile delivery frameworks and product management practices.
• Experience in highly regulated environments such as medical devices, health care, life sciences or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy, roadmap and backlog for enterprise data products and analytics platforms.
• Partner with business leaders to identify high-value opportunities and translate into product requirements.
• Define and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria and milestones using Agile methodologies.
• Lead product planning and communicate roadmap progress to senior leadership.
• Establish product KPIs and success metrics focused on adoption and business value.
• Govern data products with ownership, metadata standards, data contracts and governance controls while ensuring compliance.
• Partner with data engineering teams to design scalable data products and guided self-service analytics on cloud platforms.
• Serve as trusted adviser across a global, matrixed organization to drive adoption and capability development.
