Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Math/Stats/Engineering/CS) or related discipline.
• 10+ years in data science/advanced analytics or related field.
• 3+ years Python for ML, forecasting, regression, classification, segmentation.
• 3+ years advanced SQL with complex queries on large datasets.
• Strong statistics, experimental design, predictive analytics, modeling.
• Experience analysing large structured and unstructured data.
• Experience presenting insights to executives and influencing decisions.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to business stakeholders.
• Strong PM, prioritisation and multitasking.
• Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Experience sourcing and integrating data from multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (director/executive level).
• Independently lead projects from problem definition through deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor junior analysts and data scientists on methodology and execution.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership teams.
• Develop predictive models using ML techniques (ensemble methods, trees, etc.).
• Design segmentation frameworks using clustering and classification.
• Conduct statistical analysis, model validation and performance measurement.
• Identify patterns and opportunities through large-scale data analysis.
• Support decision-making with forecasting, scoring models, and optimization.
• Translate analytics into actionable business recommendations.
