Job summary

University of South Carolina is seeking a Reporting & Strategic Data Manager to develop, install, document, and modify reporting systems and software for strategic planning and visualizations. You will lead system analysis, configuration, and maintenance to ensure optimal operations on the USC platforms.

The role requires strong collaboration with internal teams and the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, with responsibilities as primary report author and technical lead.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of SQL, reporting software, computing hardware, software, network, University information and communication systems.
• Knowledge of methods of system analysis for determining equipment configurations.
• Knowledge of software testing and debugging.
• Ability to establish working relationships with vendors, staff members and users.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, document, and modify systems and software for reporting and strategic planning, including visualizations.
• Perform system analysis, configuration, and maintain systems for optimum operating efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to internal staff, USC staff and clients.
