Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Senior Financial Analytics & Reporting Analyst to lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of financial reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data solutions to support budgeting, planning, and operational decisions.

The role partners with Finance, HR, ITS, and campus stakeholders to deliver accurate and actionable financial information, applying advanced analytics and data governance to UNC system data and HR/payroll

Qualifications

• Master’s degree plus 2–4 years experience in finance analytics or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3–5 years experience in finance analytics or equivalent.
• Experience with financial reporting standards and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance financial reporting, analytics, dashboards and data solutions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, ITS and campus stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information.
• Interpret complex financial data for leadership and decision-making.
