Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years directly managing, mentoring, and developing software or data engineering teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, partnering effectively across business, technology, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Proven experience managing, mentoring, and scaling software or data engineering teams, with a strong track record of leading complex projects and developing senior engineering staff.
• Software Engineering (8+ years): JVM proficiency with Scala, functional programming, concurrency, and modularization.
• Spark Expertise (6+ years): hands-on experience building and optimizing distributed Spark applications.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions, and Maven/SBT.
• Delivery: Agile development and global team collaboration.
